This Knife features a Twisted pattern Damascus steel blade, made from 1095/15N20 ALLOY STEELS (176 true Layers) and hand forged to a Beautiful Pattern. The Damascus steel of this knife has high-quality contents to provide an excellent edge and sharp cutting abilities. The hardness of the blade of this knife is HRC 58-60 in the lab and has been hand-sharpened to a Sharp Edge.

The process of creating our Damascus steel involves heating and folding 1095HC and 15N20 nickel carbon together to achieve the desired 396 layers. The metal is then burned in acid, which turns the nickel satin color and the high carbon blackish gray, revealing the layers of the new steel created, known as "Damascus". All Damascus is acid etched to expose the layers. After the knives are made, the handles are highly polished, and the blade edges are sharpened, buffing off the acid-burned layer on the handles and creating a satin finish on the blade edges.
