The SG02A silicone grease, in particular, is a USDA H1 food-grade lubricant that is translucent white, non-toxic, odorless, and non-irritating. It completely satisfies the eco-friendly requirements, allowing you to use it with confidence and safety.

SG02A is compatible with the majority of plastics and rubbers, making it a versatile choice for various applications. It is a non-curing silicone lubricant that is insoluble, non-dispersive, and has a high resistance to pressure. This grease also exhibits significant resistance to extreme heat and cold, with a temperature range of -40°C to 260°C (-40°F to 500°F).

The product's PAO/Mineral Oil base and a specific gravity of 1.05 at 77 degrees Fahrenheit provide excellent lubrication, even in wet environments, for long-lasting lubrication. Hydrophobic thickeners, a heavy consistency, and water-resistant flushing ensure that the grease remains clean, dielectric, and protects against oxidation, keeping moisture out. This helps prevent the corrosion of electrical connections caused by salt, dirt, and corrosion.

SG02A aids in the proper seating of the O-ring, speeds up assembly operations, and improves automated assembly. It has the ability to lubricate, seal, and condition O-rings as well as other regulator and valve system components. It also shields O-rings from abrasion, pinching, and cutting, helping to extend the life of your equipment.

The product has a wide range of applications, including faucets, garden hoses, vacuum systems, O-rings, breathing apparatus, seals, food mixers, bathroom equipment, kitchen appliances, brake parts, weather stripping, trunk seals, speedometer cables, window channels, hood strips & pads, and rubber gaskets. It can help reduce the overall leak rate in vacuum applications by filling the spaces of the gland's surfaces and lowering permeation rates of the elastomer.
